3TJ true horsepower

Post by thehappyshark » Sat Dec 30, 2017 11:08 pm

Hello,
I'm on an A2 license so I'm restricted to 47bhp. Gonna get my bike dyno'd next week but want to get a rough idea of how much power I should have, as far as in aware it had 59hp new (1990 FZR400RR) its now 28 years old, has after market stainless exhaust (no exup) and a kmph to mph converter so no top speed restriction (not sure about rev limiter) any help would be appreciated if anyone has dyno'd theirs.

Probably about 55 at the top of the rev range. It would be interesting to see the dyno graph.

I was told by the previous owner that it was dyno'd at 47 so its legal there was no paperwork. Good chance it might be that low now, think they were 59hp new so probably about 55 at the crank, after 40,000 odd miles might have lost a few horses. I'll post the results
