FZR400 3EN1 "Vacuum Cleaner" Hoses question

Post by BlueR32 » Wed May 03, 2017 7:51 pm

Looking at the "vacuum cleaner" hoses that run from the fairing to the frame, it appears that they just direct cool air into the area around the carbs. Is this all they do? I would have thought they should connect into the airbox for any kind of "ram air" function.

They're .... decorative. As you say theyre not ram air ... and they're doing much of anything else either

Nope, it's the same on the 3en2.

Maybe put an indicator in the fairings holes
