FZR400 parts..
How come its so hard to get FZR400 parts compared to the rest of the 400's..
Always keeping my eyes peeled for 3tj parts and to say they are rare is a understatement and when they do appear they vanish as quickly..

Re: FZR400 parts..
Some parts are harder to find than others .... but I'd say it's due to the popularity of them as race bikes.

Yup, know exactly what you mean.
It's like trying to find Unobtainium.
It has crossed my mind to just flog the lot and get an NC30, there always seems to be plenty of stuff around for those.

Ha Ha Evil, Don't jump the gun, I haven't decided to get rid of anything yet.
To the petrolhead, just keep keeping your eyes peeled and what you need will turn up in the end, I bought someones half finished project to get an engine and bought my headers from Japan but everything is coming together now, sometimes it just takes time.

Re: FZR400 parts..
http://www.cmsnl.com/yamaha-fzr400_model16741/ <-for 4DX1/4DX2 (similar to the 3TJ Series) or for the 3BF/3FH Series you could just pick up the Partnumbers and ask you local Yamaha-Dealer if he could order the for yous ift they are still available...for the 1992 and 1994 Models of the 3TJ you could also check the Catalogue at http://www.yamaha-ersatzteil.de to get the proper numbers as Yamaha sold the 3TJ in these years officialy here in germany, other than with the other FZR 400 Models (1WG/2TK/3EN1/3EN2/3BF/3FH) which are all greyimports here in germany.....but if you'v got the partnumber and the part you need is available somewhere in the world from yamaha itself, then your local dealer should be able to order it for you ...he would just need the partnumber
