3TJ Cam timing advice
Hi everyone. I'm starting to assemble my motor and need some advice on setting up the cam timing please....specifically...which marks line up with what ?

Go into my thread "Can you see what it is yet" in the last couple of pages there's pics that show the marks.
TDC on the flywheel with the cover off turn the mark so it lines up with the joint in the crankcases at the front of the engine.
The exhaust cam points to 12 o'clock and the inlet 1 o'clock viewed from the alternator side. Put the Exhaust cam in first.

Thanks Evil. I read that part of your post but wasn't 100% sure of the cam marks. You've made it clear now with 12 o'clock and 1 o'clock info
