Some have flatslides some don't, mine's an import and it has roundslide Mikuni carbs with the extra jets in the bellmouth.
They also have over a stock RR, An extra clutch plate, close ratio gearbox, lighter cam followers, different cams, fully adjustable forks and shock, captive wheel spacers, different rear brake caliper mounts, single seat, and they look the dogs!
Proper 90's SP exotica!
There's probably more I've missed but I'm sure Mr Will and Mr Evil amongst others will be able to fill you in completely.

Yup - slightly different swingarm for the captive wheel spacers and bobbin mounts below the wheel. Yours has CV carbs.

At the top of the page ^^^^ above the picture you'll see a link for "Document Library" look in the FZR section and theres a set up manual for the SP

Welcome along, very helpful forum this, very experienced, and helpful guidance.
Good to see another rrsp on the road. Plenty of owners here.
Your could be one of 100 officially imported to the uk, what makes in very rare on the road, and most ended up getting raced. I would know by you frame no.

Why dont you stick a threat up, for your restoration, and rebuild.
Makes a great diary of what your doing, and is a huge interest to all here.
Also about to restore, modify and rebuild an rrsp. Must get my finger out!
Maybe we could have a rebuild race!

Yeah , I think it is one of them as it's a UK model, it is very original with all the old mot's etc. It does have Harris rear sets which I do like. Will keep you posted. Cheers.
