Hello Everybody

My name is Darryl and I thought I would introduce myself having just bought two 3TJ's one of which was RockTJ's project bike and a Marlborough liveried bike that currently is not running properly.

Yeah I have been looking on fleabay this morning at digital clocks just not decided on which one I want yet. ideally I want one that's a similar size to the Yamaha one so it looks right.

Does it have a derestriction box on it ? or a 4DX cdi ?
The Japanese 3tj cdi will restrict to 12,5k rpm if it doesn't get a zero signal from the speedo, and if the zero signal doesn't disappear. There were 2 boxes or a 4dx cdi on the bay recently.

Once that's sorted I'd go with a Koso dash from http://www.digital-speedos.co.uk/ but there plenty to choose from

Darryl. The bike you bought from me is running a derestricted BDK race TCI. It has no speed or rev limiter (that I know of).

Behind the speedo unit the bike still has the M-max box fitted which is a Japanese de-restrictor. As the bike ran fine I saw no need to disconnect/remove it!

Missing the sound of it already - the Mille is nice, but different if you know what I mean......

The other rear seat will be with you soon.

Chris
