FZR Pistons
Hi Guys,
Just joined the forum to see if anybody could help.
Does anybody know where I can get standard size, 0.5 or 1.0 oversize pistons and rings for my beloved FZR400 3tj?
Yamaha seem to have come up blank, so it looks like after market manufacturers or a new old stock supply somewhere.
Any Ideas????????

Re: FZR Pistons
Hi there Welcome to the forum
Thar sounds like a bit of difficult problem. JE made some pistons but it's going to be expensive and very hard to find. Even ring sets from Yamaha are going to skin you.
Really your better off looking for an engine, or top end.
What condition is the exhaust pipes in ?

Thanks for that. Will speak to JE, see what they do or can do.
Pipe is fine, why you ask?

If the pipe was rotten I'd say change the engine to a 600.
