Hi

My '89 rrj nc23 won't start. It turns over ok but there is no spark. I've replaced the plug caps with recon items from Graeme France. The coils and pulse generators test ok with a meter, I've got a 12v supply (black/white wire) at the CDi socket and also a good earth (green wire). I purchased another CDi from Graeme but it doesn't start using that either. I've tried another wiring loom but still no good.

I'm starting to wonder if BOTH my CDi units are faulty.

Is there anyone in the North west, (preferably close to Warrington) who would let me try my CDi units on their working bike?

Has anyone any other ideas that I could try?

Have you checked the pick up coil? And also check your kill switch, they’re notorious for causing problems like this .
