Aftermarket fuel pump

Post by Gimly56 » Sat Jan 27, 2018 9:24 am

I purchased an aftermarket fuel pump for my NC29 but it's constantly on.....and eventually fuel pressure builds up to the point where fuel starts leaking everywhere. So annoying.

Has anyone else had this issue with an aftermarket fuel pump?

Im gonna buy a replacement from China eBay.

I have an aftermarket generic solid state pump but it stops after the pressure has build up. I've read you could have issues with your float needle not closing in 1 of ur carb bowls which causes the overflow or the pressure of the pump pushing way too much fuel. The latter is my issue and it's throwing my plugs dead.
