where are the carb vacumn pipes?
Hi
I need to balance my carbs, I only have a two gauge set up but I do need to know where they connect to ?
looked on the net, lots of videos showing this being done, but where the h**l do I connect the vacuum gauges to ?
Thanks in advance guys

Take the carbs off and you see them on the engine under the intake stubs.

There are 4 screws in the inlet stubs cast into the cylinder head below the carb rubbers. From memory they are M5 thread so you will need the adapters to give the balancer pipes something to connect to. you should be able to see the ones for the outer cylinders without removing the tank etc. but will obviously need to take the tank off to gain access to the balancing screws on the carb linkages

If it's a 29 the adapters are already fitted with rubber boots over the ends
