Hi Ian,

Where are you located? I have an old swingarm here from my old race bike which has had some lugs and a sharksfin made and welded on if your local you can have it as I'm sick of keep walking into the bloody thing,
I'm in Surrey (about 2 mins from Hampton court palace) if not don't worry I'll just carry on using it as a coat hanger

Si,
Huge apologies I have only just seen this post.
That is a very generous offer from you , but I am now sorted for a swingarm/stand solution.
Apologies once again.

How did you sort it in the end?

Dunk
I had a 12mm bar turned down to 10mm on one end, had the 10mm end threaded and that then slips through the hollow axle on my bike.
I have fixed a paddock stand bobbin on one end, and have tapped the other one to suit the 10mm thread on the other end.

How do you get the wheel out if the stand goes through the axle?

Hi Dunk
I just unscrew the bobbin from the 10mm end and pull the bar out, and the axle is back to normal.
