Coolant

Post by hondahaha » Sat Mar 04, 2017 5:55 pm

I lost some coolant when I changed the water pump so I decided I may aswell change the lot considering it's life prior to my ownership...
I went to Halfords as it was open( ) and I found that now coolant is for specific engines, they do 2,the silicate and the OAT..which should I opt for or neither and go to a bike shop...thanks.

Bike shop if you can find any open tomorrow and it should be cheaper. I have used silkolene in the past with no ill effects.

Could always try the honda coolant from ds spares, if it's what honda do really use then they must think it's good enough for all their bikes
