Water pump

Post by hondahaha » Wed Mar 01, 2017 1:30 pm

More woes...I noticed a water leak when my bikes has run for a while...not a lot but obviously requiring attention.
On inspection it is the hole along the main body which (as I've worked on cars before)indicates that the seal behind the impeller has worn.I don't believe it is serviceable as the diagram shows it as 1 piece and the main body doesn't appear to be sold seperately..any help would be good and best place to buy, thanks.

Two codes? 19200-MV4-000 OR 19200-MV4-010..

Try Graeme France Racing for the pump.

As to why there are actually three numbers for the pump I dont know but of the two you quote, the earliest is for engines upto number 1309585, the 010 version above 1309586 and the final number not mentioned by you with the 780 is the R model.

After further looking at the fiche I believe the only difference is in part number 9 (x2 bolts), this is mentioned in the Fiche and CMSNL where they even mention the engine numbers the part changed.
