DIY FCR inlet boots
As the FCR inlet boots are rarer than honest politicians, I've decided I need to go DIY. After much searching this http://www.mycarperformance.com.au/rubb ... mm-id.html seems to be the best option. Silicone and radiator hose aren't fuel resistant. Hopefully I can cut these to the right shape and use a Dremel to open each end of the cur piece to the 35mm required for the inlet port and 37mm for the carb spigot, then clamp them on. The hose should have enough stretch to fit snuggly and enough rigidity to hold the carbs without them coming off.
I've ordered a metre so there is enough for a few stuff ups. I'll post progress as it happens. The hose is going to take a couple of weeks to arrive
If anybody has a set of these rubbers they could measure for me it would be much appreciated.
Matt

Any chance of making another set for me as I'm in the same boat? I'd pay you of course

Yeah I'd buy a few sets to have spares, you got an air box to go with yours? As I've got the mould now so can get new ones made
