Nc29 1991 project
Got a 1991 nc29 that im doing up. Here are some photos. So far it's had,
forks resprayed and rebuilt with gf springs,
Wheels resprayed plus new bearings.
Full recon set of carbs from gf.
Recon wiring loom from gf.
Gf stainless race exhaust system plus new SS studs.
All new cables
Fresh fluids
Resprayed subframes,clock mount.
Full service.
And some fresh tyres ready for when it's finished. Still waiting on fairings to arrive from China. Got plenty to keep me busy until they arrive.

Gone for this colour scheme in the end. I was very close to getting the black and silver with the turquoise strip that goes through the middle but last minute change in mind. The paint code is yr502p for the wheels. I read somewhere on here it was a close match to hrc gold. Just picked them up tonight. Very happy with them.

Re: Nc29 1991 project
Hello,
Got the tyres fitted today, relieved the freshly sprayed wheels didn't get a mark on them.
Got the fairings on the bike temporarily, adjustments to be made before taking off the tie wraps holding some of it together.
Had a bit of an issue trying to start it but I think it was just an installation error when I fitted the refurbished wiring loom from GFracing.
After checking all connections were proper, earth was good, solenoid was all good it struck up first time. Fresh fuel and it ran a treat. Rebuilt carbs from gfracing were only bench balanced but they are close as I think I'd get them with my carb tune, idles so nice.
Next step will be fitting the discs to the wheels, fitting all new wheel bearings and dust seals. Stick them on the bike, get the brakes back on, not going to touch the brakes at the moment as I just want to be able to give the bike a run see how it performs. I'll obviously make sure the brakes will stop me. Ha.
Rear shock upgrade was going to be next on the list but my good friends have convinced me to do a few track day on my nc23 trackbike this month and next so money will be tight.
Hope you like the pictures and the update.
JB

Nice!....I like the latest pictures.....You can probably upload a video as well maybe......
How did you get the forks done...yourself or paid someone else to spray paint them? I need to get my forks done as well....

I was lucky and the spray shock near where I work said they'd spray them if I stuck £20 in the charity pot.

Re: Nc29 1991 project
I stripped them myself, blasted them ready and masked off so they just had to spray.
