MOT Failure
So the old girl failed the MOT at the weekend, a couple of things were a little concerning and I hadn't even noticed them which worried me a little but the parts are on order an awaiting delivery.
2 x headlamp bulbs (original Honda)
2 x rear wheel bearings (1 fine but 1 had totally seized)
1 x front brake master cylinder clamp (old one had snapped in half)
1 x front talon 14T sprocket
1 x rear talon 42T Sprocket
1 x DID Chain
1 x Dynojets
The tester also said that it was only running on 3 on tick over but when revving it seemed to run on all 4, so I'm going to take the carbs of and send them off to be cleaned before fitting the bigger jets.
A busy week a head I think.

Re: MOT Failure
So I've nearly got all the parts... just waiting for the rear sprocket as the one I received on Friday was for an NC29, but hey, these things happen.
I'm also going to be spraying the back wheel, it's looking very tired at the minute. The gold I've gone fir isn't an exact match, a little brighter but doesn't have too much of a metallic affect. I'll post some before and after pictures when I'm finished. I'll be using a high build beige primer as advised by my local paint shop and I'll also be using the lacquer that is fuel resistant in the hope it will last longer.

Re: MOT Failure
So I've just painted the wheels, not lacquered them yet, going to leave them to dry over night in the house by the radiator lol. Then I'll lacquer when a its a bit warmer tomorrow night.
Few pics of how they are now, what do you think?

MOT Failure
Thanks mate, me too. I'll be gutted if they do chip.
It's only cost me £25 and a bit of time
