NC29 Restrictor (35kW) Dimensions

Post by BabyBlade0161 » Sun Jun 05, 2016 6:02 pm

Hi All

Just purchased the 35kW restrictors for my 1991 NC29 off eBay for £59.99 with that documentation shizzle which everybody says different things about.

Just thought I would share the dimensions, for those people who do not want to spend 60 quid, when with a scrap bit of 1mm thick stainless, a 380mm diameter punch, drill and a file you can do the same thing... (without the documentation of course) I was tempted to return them and do it but I simply cannot be asked.

Look at the photos for full dimensions with the offset triangle and dimensions from edge to edge etc, it really would not be hard to replicate these.

I had these 35KW RESTRICTORS and then a few months later, The engine was making a very funny noise and it was not running properly.

Some fuel had clogged up in the engine I think. My friend removed it for me and then it was fine a few days afterwards and was back to normal.

I would NOT PUT THESE RESTRICTORS ON, just get the certificate and keep it on you when riding.
