NC30 Replacement Idle Extender Screw

Hi All,

New NC30 restoration project started and first time post!

When stripping down the bike to remove the carbs for cleaning etc I found the idle extender screw/cable has snapped off (already, not me - I hadn't got there yet!)

Looking for a replacement seems to be hard work and I was wondering if anyone can recommend a replacement from another bike model or an aftermarket part that will fit?

Seems to be part number 16029MR8003 in the parts microfich

I had a quick look on the David Silver site. As you probably know by now that part has been discontinued but I'm surprised nobody has come up with helpful advice.

Try https://shop.teammoto.com.au/screw-set~224215 They have a lot of obsolete parts made up locally to special order. Shipping from Australia but from experience, shipping only takes about 2 weeks at most. AU$55.81 which works out about £29.00 (plus shipping)

I'll take a look at teammoto when I have got the bike running.

Carbs cleaned and back in but no joy on starting (but petrol leak fixed, so that is progress). I'll do the oil, plugs and valve clearances next and then see if it'll fire up up. Then I can start the part shopping/hunting!
