RVF400 Carbs - looking for a set or an expert
Hi guys,
Have a leaky set - anyone have a good working set for sale or know anyone that can sort them?
Any recommendations?
Pete

I see you're in the US, as am I. Try contacting Mike Nixon

Rick Oliver might have the parts you'll need to get that sorted; you'll have to change them yourself though.

Define "leaking"? Have you inspected/cleaned the float valve and polished the seats? For the later, just use a q-tip soaked in brasso. You can chuck the q-tip into a drill if it's really bad.

Lol- yep done all that.seats are lovely and polished, used a qtip in my dremal (20,000 rpm baby). Ha ha ha.
I did a wet bench test using elastic bands and no bases - it may now be fixed ... as it's not leaking yet. I'll know in the morning..
