New owner few issues

Post by Jordansilver1 » Tue Dec 11, 2018 12:06 pm

Hi all I just picked up my 1994 nc30 today I decided to look why bike is struggling to start and won’t idle after taking tank off ect I see the idle control cable was not connected so I think I’ve sorted that other jobs are
Horn won’t work but if I hold the horn button and tap the horn it working but as soon as I leave button go it won’t work again only if I hit the horn
Also a question about the to radiators are they both 50/50 coolant or is the bottom rad oil ? Lol sorry about this as I’m new but will learn I hope if not look for help

Horn - check the connectors at the horn are free from corrosion & make sure they are tight.
The 2 big rads (top & bottom) are connected together so both water. UK spec bikes had a small oil cooler fitted as well. Should be fairly obvious tbh
My other ride is another 400, Woohoo!... Doh
