Camshafts
Here's a quick question for all you vfr gurus out there;
Are the camshafts in the nc21, nc24 and nc30 compatable/interchangeable with each other?
In other words, could you use a nc24 camshaft in an nc30 engine?
What are the main differences in the engines?

Re: Camshafts
Unfortunately not - firstly the NC21/24 engines use a 180 degree crank pin spacing (like a VFR750F) and the NC30/35 have a 360 degree crank (like an RC30) so the cam lobes are in different positions - secondly, the cylinder head was completely redesigned between the NC24 and NC30 engines (made more compact and changed from screw valve clearance adjustment to shims) so the cams would not be interchangeable even if the timing were right.
