150/65r18 for nc30

Is it possible to use a 150/65 tyre? Has anyone tried it out? The main difference would seem to be a slight increase in ride height, with a larger selection of available choices?

Im tempted to try the metzeler racetec on track and that’s a 150/65/18. Not much choice in the U.K. for 18” track tyres

I use to race on bridgestone race slicks that were both 65's in the front and rear. The only thing one would notice is a little bit later turn in. If your just using the rear I would bet it would tilt in faster. I have no experiences with that config nor a road tire in that config. Good luck.

I have a set of metzeler roadtecs but 160/60/18(120/70/17 f)..couple of years old but good tyres....sticky and plenty good for road...but going with Michelin now this summer..so metzs are surplus(if anyone want them!!)..but I doubt they will be bettered by bt090's
