Is there an alternative as I can't find an original gear lever for a nc24..what about fitting a lever directly to the shaft coming out of engine.?

Any one know if he CBR400 gear lever fits looks similar just with a longer linkage?

You could also get an NC21 gear lever, the CBR400 Lever appears to be slightly different so I am not sure if it will work, but there is a couple NC21s and NC24s being broken on ebay right now I would contact the sellers and ask if they have one for sale, I actually just bought an NC24 lever for my NC21 and there is a brand new lever on ebay for £220 but at that price its way too expensive.

If you go to someone breaking a bike depending on condition you can get one from £15 - £35 so make sure to get pictures first.

Thanks it seems almost impossible to get . But a ten pound Chinese lever put direct onto the engine works perfectly except it turns it into a one up five down gearbox.As I ride an old bike as well this is not a problem and a cheap fix

I have one in a box somewhere I think, if you still need one let me know, you can have it for postage if i still have it.
