Re: Nc30 misfire
Oli, swapping out the HT leads and checking agian seems like an (easy) Logical step. If nothing else it should help with the fault diagnosis process if it doesn't solve the problem. If you don't have a spare set, I have the old HT leads and caps from my Project and can chuck those in the postif it helps out.

Thanks for that Ian, I think I have some on my racking from the cb750's.
I'll look tomorrow as I had a few beers tonight.
Priorities!

Re: Nc30 misfire
Well I think I've found the cause.
I was having a look at how I could replace the ht leads, taking the cap off etc, and noticed that one of the caps was absolutely filthy inside.
So I pulled the cap out of the rubber sheath and gave it all a good clean.
I think the dirt was getting in the way of a good clean connection between the cap and plug.
I'm still going to get new leads as a back up, but I think once the bike is back together I'll either book a dyno session to confirm or deny my ''fix'' or take the bike to a private stretch of road...
