Ahah! A quick google shows me you are correct sir! Just that they've fitted an nc30 shock to it :-)Dynamohum wrote:Is the eyelet top mount welded to frame thought it was the normal threaded mount for a nc35 that goes through frame with retaining nut top .

Looks like NC30 swingarm judging by the ridge line along the left side of the swingarm itself. If this is indeed a NC35 frame, some interesting modifications must have been made to accommodate the NC30 swingarm.
As someone pointed out, pivot mount spacing is different; and pivot shaft diameter is also different. You might have problems with sprocket alignment too,

Re: Nc35 / nc30 build / help!
Hi, first step here is to look at the engine. Have two nc30 engines here, photos attached. The one that I was going to use though has some rust looking stuff down the ? Intake valves (where carbs attach), the other doesn’t but has some solid damage to the rhs and missing gearbox I believe.
Thoughts on which I should do or ways I can check whether the engine turns over okay etc before putting it in? is the one I was planning to go in but concerned about the rust.

Spray some wd40 down the throats, pull the plugs and see if it spins over manually using a socket & wrench.

Star! Will give it a go and report back. I was told to do compression test and leak down testing however investigation says at 250 per tool plus another 75-100 for the 8mm adapter I’ll be paying more than I did for the project itself!Suzuki416 wrote:Spray some wd40 down the throats, pull the plugs and see if it spins over manually using a socket & wrench.

It looks like its been stored (badly) without sealing up the throats. After pulling all the plugs a squirt of OIL into the heads also will not
do you any harm. If the engine rotates then its at least worth spending some time on - IF its SEIZED (& its possible) then its a parts doner only..
