Rs250 shock in nc30

Post by TURK122 » Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:06 am

Hello all
I have recently won a Rs250 shock on eday.
The shock as already been modified to fit the nc30 by the previous owner. He used it in his nc3o to race at the Manx TT.
I asked the seller if he could supply any setting but his answer was "it's not been changed since I removed it"
If anyone on here has done and run this mod I'd be grateful for your input.
I have searched and read some old posts but nothing seems to have been posted on this topic for a few year's.
Thanks

The one i had was rebuilt and resprung with extra shimming in rebound stack the hose turned at res to allow it to be mounted as per the res on the later nc30 shock.
The top mount had some metal shaved and lower mount and tri link modded to fit.
That one you have looks different fom mine it was lenght adjustable the one i had which jacked back up nicely.

Theres a bit in docs section about rs250 shock fitment .

Read the fitment doc thanks.
Anyone know how to tell if it's been shimed? I'll have it in bits for a service before it gets fitted.
As for ride hight I'm running it with rvf bog bones and rear wheel
