What's your rebound adjuser set to?
It's set to 10 since I felt that it returned too quick after I pushed down on the tank, hard to judge since the spring is so strong(there is less than 10mm static sag with preload at the minimum).

So general consensus is that the s1000rr shock, coupled with a hrc linkage, is a suitable upgrade?

Well no ones tried it yet but the figures work out, it will definitely work better with the HRC link than the standard link.

I currently have a shock en-route from the USA and the HRC link coming from Rick.

As soon as they arrive i intend to get them in there (inside next 2 weekends). With the lighter spring, has anyone done calculations on the required spring for a 65kg fully kitted rider? Would prefer to have a spring coming at the same time so i dont have to pull everything apart again - or is the standard spring going to manage (damping issues).

I'm using this for 100% track use only so hopefully it holds up.

Sorry if this has already been asked but i dont see any mention of it. What is the free length of the uprated spring?

Just too update, ive now changed all settings to 10 i wanna have a play with the extremes, its fairly easy to adjust so i can go out with the tools and fine tune this i guess, but with everything set previously at 5 i felt it was a little soft/springy and would like things a little stiffer (aye aye)

so will report back, has anyone else played with the settings? BMW specify as 10 being "Sport"

I found the compression damping set to 9/9 to be too stiff with a 825lb spring.

I find compression at 5 and rebound at 7to be spot on.
