NC35 bodywork on NC30

Post by mick.mh2racing » Wed Mar 17, 2010 10:40 pm

Has anyone used NC35 bodywork on a NC30?
Obviously it's possible on the basis that anything is with the right amount of modification. How easy is it because I assume it won't be a straight swap.
How hard can it be?

No road.
The headlight apertures are certainly different shapes, don't know if the headlights would actually align to accepted tolerances.
How hard can it be?

To fit a road nc35 upper cowl you would need the front subframe, headlights and screen brace. The mids and lowers should go on ok.

For the rear you would need an nc35 rear subframe.

and the front subframe isn't a straight swap you'll need to redrill a hole .
It's not having what you want but wanting what you've got....Loud ,Proud and Modified ....

a member on this forum called Yack done it a couple of years ago, he turned his NC30 into a nice NC35-RT lookalike.
As said by others, you will need of an NC35: front clock/fairing stay, rear subframe plus lower fairing bolts(!),
front headlight unit and maybe the mirror fairing stay. As for the panels, NC35 rear seat panels, mid panels and
top fairing panel.

(I have the majority of the mentioned NC35 parts above here somewhere stuffed, it will be for sale soon).

Might have go and make it fit. I've been looking for some half decent bodywork but do't want to spend more than £50.
How hard can it be?
