On my carbs, they just vent into fresh air, yours are connected into something?
They are the black pipes running by the left rear carb top.
They're fuel overflow pipes, you don't need them.

Thanks, it looks neater than my setup.
That wouldn't be hard.
Fingers crossed for my dyno session on Tuesday.

well guys, bike now rebuilt with new carb, jets, needles and modified air filter.
had a quick run up the road as the sun was setting  last night and all is good.
bike pulled all the way to the red without a hickup, sounds a little lumpy at tick over but she wont be sat there for long :sshh:.

so the set up at the moment:
air tray
standard air box / less restrictive filter foam (cheers rick oliver)
set of needles (rick oliver)
120 jets all round (rick oliver)
2 1/4 turns out on screw

my next question
the carbs came fitted with 120 jets on the front cylinders and 122.5 on the rears, any reason why?
