Carbs!
Folks I have an old NC21. Not run for 14 years so I need to rebuild the carbs. Now finding parts has proved difficult for the 21 I wondered if anyone knew if the carbs were the same as the 24 or the 30 which I appear to be able to get a rebuild kit for.
Cheers all

Re: Carbs!
cmsnl.com stock the gasket kits for NC21. Jets you can get pretty much anywhere as long as you know the sizes.

Re: Carbs!
If you use cmsl.com I'd be interested to know what the cost of the parts were and what the postage was. Also import duty. I've used CSM for years but a few months ago I did the usual and added a few bits and bobs to my basket. They came to around £40. However the postage was extortionate, something like £18, for parts you could post in an envelope! Add on import duty and it was over £25! I cancelled my order and complained. They very politely said it was out of their hands and blame Brexit.

Re: Carbs!
Seems like every company is blaming Brexit or Covid these days. It's the easy excuse

Re: Carbs!
try NRP for carb bits. You really now want viton seals anyway.

Re: Carbs!
Don't quite understand why they would make an 'excuse' if it means they lose my patronage and therefore my money. I doubt they would have wanted anything to change. I was happy to buy their stuff and they were happy to take my money. Then Brexit came along. Now we're both fucked.
To be honest (and not wishing to stir up a can of worms here or blame voters) I've yet to find anyone who genuinely believes that they have personally benefitted. A lot of things that were promised haven't happened. The situation in Ireland is messy, immigration is much the same as it was, the money we save from membership that was going to bolster the NHS (remember the bus?) was a blatant lie and has never been mentioned since. Amazing trade deals with far flung countries haven't materialised. Pretty pathetic. All it seemed to do was secure votes for certain politicians and divide a country. Plus of course make it far more expensive for me to buy stuff from CSMNL, which is the main thing

Re: Carbs!
But have you noticed that Covid only surfaced after Brexit? Who says it wasn't a deliberate move? One for the conspiracy theorists
