Bodywork and tank etc recommendations
My RVF is in mint condition. However I quite fancy a change in colour.
The OEM panels are way too valuable to get resprayed - so I've been looking at getting new bodywork that is already in the right colour.
Here are my problems though:
1. Tyga don't do rear bodywork that has the pillion seat - I don't need a pillion seat but I do use the underseat storage (clear visor and also my scottoiler reservoir).
2. Chinese fairings don't do a "tank cover".
Also, after speaking with Tyga they didn't recommend using a tank cover on a "mint" tank - as it would probably scratch it.
So - it looks like I'm after a secondhand tank that needs repainting and/or a cover and a Chinese fairing. If the replacement tank is dented I'd probably buy a Tyga carbon cover - as that would look pretty cool.
Where might I get a secondhand tank?
Are there any other ways out of this that you guys can think of?
Cheers
