Re: Race fuel filler cap - Keyless
Alex,
I bought a cheap one off ebay last year (£25 I think)
It came from Hong Kong or Thailand. It works fine, looks a little dodgy as the colours don't match, but seals fine and is simple to get off, even with gloved hands. Spike had one as well for his track bike but it was annodised black.
I'm probably going to get another soon for my spare fairing/tank set-up.

That's the same as what I have - in black. As said, it works well and very cheap, but the anodising faded to a browny colour very quickly in the Australian sun. Although, NCs have brown coloured fillers as standard don't they
I'd be inclined to choose plain alu now.

Re: Race fuel filler cap - Keyless
At first these cnc'd caps from thailand look & fit great but if the paint of you tank, around the filler cap isnt good, it'll be affected by the fuel vapor & bubble, as these type of fuel caps do not seal the tank shut as the original does.

Re: Race fuel filler cap - Keyless
Thank you for the tip, my tank is on the original paint and is in great condition, no cracking or damage around the filler cap so I'm guessing it should be OK.

Try searching US Ebay for 'gas fuel cap cbr' and a load of different colours/styles/prices come up. This one (silver anodised) is pretty cheap:alexwitham wrote:Any of you guys have a link to a plain alu one? Can't seem to find anything reasonably priced!
