Both genuine uk bikes, so work that out!!!!!!!!!
Sat in shop for a year as they were too dear? Unless it is an RM.

Why would Honda assume uk and Europe would need the same quantity, and if they did not, there would have been a gap of missing unissued numbers.

More likely, the bikes were built in small batches according to market dealer demand using a common prefix number [20----. 21-----] with the numbers running sequentially for all markets.
The importers would have a record of the frame number when the bike arrived.

I read in 1992 that 250 RL and 131 RN [RM?] were sold in 190 and 1991.

The frame No on mine was.200000-- and engine No was 21000--.
and the bike was registerd 4-4-90.

99% OF THE TIME THE ENGINE AND FRAME NUMBERS WERE +2 OF EACH OTHER.

I HAVE SEEN A GENUINE UK BIKE THAT WAS 10 NUMBERS OUT...... HOPE THIS HELPS
