Just be prepared for the steering lock to be reduced quite a bit by the conversion. I nearly fell off mine the first time i took it out with the rvf forks when turning into my estate.

I've fitted some Tyga steering stops to my bike which already reduces the lock on the bike and after a chat with Rick a few nights ago he said I'd need to do something to reduce the lock. I guess it will all become clearer in the next few days.

I'm not one to keep secrets. It's an upside-down set of forks :tits:

OK, so rather than start a new thread, I'll revive this one.

Now that the front end is fitted there is a severe lack of steering lock. Now, I guess I can chop off the lock-stops on the bottom yoke, drill 2 holes and fit an allen head bolt and a nyloc nut below it ahich I don't mind doing. For anyone who has fitted RVF forks to a VFR, what did you do to improve the lock?

To be honest at the moment I am just living with it, it only bothers me when turning in to side roads. That is one option or you could attach some nylock squares to the frame. Just remember if you make the lock better it will hit the clocks.

A very late response to a very old thread.
I currently own paulbfd's old NC30 (the one with GSXR forks) l've had it for 8 years now and absolutely love it. Done a few upgrades since l got it. Mainly rear wheel conversion and exhaust system. Fitted CF where ever possible. Hoping to take it for it's first trip to IOM this year.
