Can someone please who owns this beauty share some info that i need?

The info that i need has to do with the mirrors. Can someone please measure for me the fixing bolts distance of the mirrors? Center to center.

Thanks.

Good luck he sold it soon after purchase. i have been in touch with him since hoping to find it, but it's gone.
I would love one of these.

Great to hear about your 400 Hyper vtec-I've got one too,a vtec 1.Its a fantastic little bike and goes like the wind ! I like getting the vtec valve to open as you come out of a corner-it picks the bike up and launches you - superb fun !

Anyone got any sound reason for this bike not being an official Honda import? Seems like it would only need mild restriction for new riders and therefore retain its dynamics mostly. Its' not too expensive in Japan at under £6,000. Looks better and totally different to their other small engine offering.

I have a shop soiled one. Price in Japan was £3,900.....auction premium, shipping, UK duty, VAT, VOSA test + number plate brought the price up to £6,950. If Honda UK imported this bike I recon on the road would be £8,000. Doubt they would sell many, people like cheap. Just look at the Yamaha sales 4 in every 10 UK bikes sold are an MT.

Oh & by the way, yes the CB400SFV is very very good, 14,000 miles so far without the slightest problem.

Yes, and apart from enduro / mx bikes, the smaller the engine, the lower the price expectation. It would need to be £6000 here too, wouldn't it?

Australia sell the NC42 for £6,595 OTR. Only goes to show how high our taxes are & presume the shipping being further to travel costs more? I asked Honda UK about getting me one and it was a definate NO. What killed off the original 1970's CB400F was the cost of production. They could bank more profit from a CB750K6 than the little CB400F.
I doubt they'd sell many nowadays, people seem to like massive BHP. Personally I'm in the Soichiro Honda camp of "No need for more than 400cc"
