WTB NC35 HT leads and caps

Post by RVFmal » Thu Oct 19, 2023 2:00 pm

Need to replace an HT lead and cap for the NC35.

So far have not found anything on the OEM part number.

Any idea where I can source an aftermarket unit or which manufacturer of leads still currently produce to the NC35 spec?

Same part on the NC30 and NC29.

Found a set of leads and caps off of a NC24. Are these compatible or should I stick to looking for units off an NC30 (as the NC35 units are nigh on impossible to find locally and cannot find the apparent compatible SD05FM caps from NGK at any of our local parts stores - NGK themselves are less than useless here too).

Bigger plugs on an NC24 so not sure they would work?

Is it a spare you need, or new? Mighthave one in my container that I might be visiting this weekend - if I find one, I'll let you know

I had a chat to Rick Oliver and he advised me that the plug caps could be repaired, which is a win (even sent me a how-to). So got some 7mm HT lead and will perform a repair this evening and give it a whirl.

As an side, I did check whether the NC24 caps would fit and as you rightly stated, they do not
