NC29 fairing

Post by Foxy400 » Sat Oct 31, 2020 11:00 am

Here's a simple question for all you NC29 buffs. Is the bodywork identical for every model? In other words, for example, can the fairing be switched from a Type 7 to a Type 1? I think the answer is yes it can, but just checking. Cheers.

There's been plenty of nc29's on eBay with the wrong fairing type for the bikes age so I would say yes also

On the strength of your reply I am now going to buy a complete Type 7 fairing in the knowledge it will fit my Type 1. Actually that's a lie  But if I came across a complete NC29 fairing in good nick I would buy it and be pretty sure it would fit. So thanks for your response.

I do know the rrn fairings fit the rrr frame and vice versa. I did purchase a 1990 registered frame from g France many years ago and he never mentioned anything about fairings not fitting (I never used the frame in the end and sold it on, wow that’s 14 years ago😵)
