Honda CBR400 Nc29 (Starter not cranking)
Hi Everyone,
So i'm trying to get my bike started, I have connected all the wires as they should correspond. While my bike battery is connected to my car battery and have my car running so that it gives power to the battery(Bike). I don't know how much voltage the battery has, as it has been standing for a long time after assembling the motor all over again, as also i don't know if it could be flat. When turning the key on, the only lights that switch on is (Side Stand / Oil).
Question?
(1) Is the bike(Battery) receiving enough power from the car(Battery) to allow the starter to crank?
(2) Could it be maybe the bike(Battery) is too flat to even give power to crack the starter?
(3) Is there a certain way the bike needs to be in order to start it? (Example) does the bike need to be in neutral.
Please can you assist will be much appreciated.
Thanks

Are all the fuses ok?
No need to run the car to try and start the bike.
What does the voltage show across both terminals of the battery?

I'm assuming the ignition key switch has to use a 30 fuse. Cause it was using a 25 fuse could that be problem too?

Starter relay or safety interlock fault.
