Nc24 tank vent

Post by Shortstock » Sun Dec 02, 2018 2:54 pm

Hi all
Just made a start on the restoration just a query
The tank valve was blocked is this an open vent or a one way valve or something.
Tried and failed to remove it from the tank.
Ps how to you attach pics

You are talking about the valve on top of the tank? This is one way -> air goes into the tank, but nothing goes out. It is just screwed into the tank.

Mine was blocked nothing in or our, you saying it’s a one way valve?
Otherwise I was going to put a small drill bit in to clear blockage

Both of my tanks have one way valve.

Maybe try to get them working again with cleaning them?

Can I blocked valve result to dent on the tank caused by vacuum?
