Mine vill be on the scales in the beginning of next week. I hope for 160 kg with 15 litres of fuel. That is 20 kg less than standard.

This sort of list and the dedication to HRC mods on this site makes me really think of gettin an NC30 as a long term 'thing'... (i have to consider this when im supposedly emigrating to Singapore next month ..)

I think someone needs to total the maximal loss of stuff,( a chart with a ~~ perhaps ~~ with a cash- o -romitor - indicator of wallet suicide cash per gram ) But stuff like the rear subfrme in ally choppin of 2.5 kilo -2 kilo loss from a alloy tank an cap..

1.5 kilos per clippon lost - this cant be true..(~!). shirly .. .??? yess i go round with 3 bags of sugar tied to me bars...

we had ti hollow wheel spindles in or Race ped - inherited from another team who spun them up at work ( 'some place' called Rolls Royce ) - thay were mind blowingly light.... just totally speech inhibbiting :ugeek:

does anyone have weights for the many alternative wheels which are used on NC30's?
--edit: oh, I see you already asked, right at the top...

--what about the weight of Rick Oliver's axle for the VFR750 wheel kit?

was interested to see that the battery could be swapped for a lighter one.so looked up battery YTR4.And it has spade connectors instead of the bolts for the battery connection. Was just wanting to know if anybody had tried changing it and did you have any problems with it?cheers.

Regarding the battery.

Yes the spades ain´t a optimal connection. I have to squeese mine "female connectors" (no i don´t know what they are called!!!) together now and then and make shure they are proper clean and lubed with vaseline (this reply sounds bad!)

Other than that it works fine.

Updated with the weight of my new ohlin shock. A heavy bugger unfortunaly. My wallet will have a hard time forgiving me when i by that titanium spring!

Does anyone know from what bike the 2000 gr ohlin came from?
