It didn't help that 30% of the bikes on the track launch lunched their engines.

Nice looking and specced bike, but I personally reckon the beemer s1000rr is leaps and bounds ahead in the technology stakes and is truly a modern bike in all senses of the word - if not outright horsepower! 183hp at the wheel!
