Setting Sag VFR 400 NC30

Post by Burty26 » Sun Jun 09, 2019 8:35 pm

I have recently fitted the fork uprate kit from Rick O for the front forks (late type) and also a rear nitron shock. A RVF linkage and dogbone was also fitted.
What Sag settings should I aim for, this will be for road use?

I always like to aim for the softer side on sag, start at about 35mm front and rear and you can adjust from there,

what was your set up before installing the kit? did you measure sag, preload etc and what is the shock length on the new Nitron compared to stock?
